Number of outgoing email messages allowed per month

This represents the number of email messages that you can send out per month. Example: One announcement sent to 200 people counts as 200 messages. Five announcements, each sent to 200 people, counts as 1000 messages.

The start date of your month is the day you sign up for the service, not the calendar month. If you upgrade from the free version to a fee-based version, your start date will be the day you upgrade. You can have an unlimited number of people on your email list (except for the free version which allows 200 maximum), but will only be able to send the allocated number of messages based on your level of service.

Example: Let's say you work for an accounting firm serving the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S., covering 10 states and you signed up for the Bronze service level, which allows up to 20,000 outgoing messages per month. In your list sign up page, you ask people what state their business is located in. Over time if you get, say, 5,000 people signed up in each state, every month you can send messages targeted to people in up to four states (4 x 5,000 = 20,000), even if you have 50,000 email addresses in your list. If you wanted to send one message to everyone on that list, just upgrade for $20 to the Silver service level which allows up to 50,000 outgoing messages per month.
