Confirmed opt-in

All lists on our system use a confirmed opt-in process to ensure that only the addresses of individuals who want to be on your list are added.

When someone enters an email address for your list, the system sends a personalized confirmation message to that address. When the recipient of that message replies to it, that address is fully activated.

This helps to significantly reduce complaints of unwanted mail and provides fully documented proof that an address signed up for your list should a complaint be filed. It also prevents your list from being sabotaged by malicious people who might try to get you globally blacklisted by adding known spamtrap addresses to your list.
